Top 5 Dance Games in Nigeria Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw diverse performance trends among the top five dance games in Nigeria on a unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Just Dance Now by Ubisoft experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $33 in mid-April and seeing a low of $3 in mid-June. Weekly downloads for this app showed a slight decline from 187 to 145 over the quarter, while weekly active users decreased from 302 to 222.

Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop from Coco Play had a notable spike in weekly downloads, starting at 647 and hitting a peak of 1.1K in mid-April before falling to 146 by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, rising from 1.3K to 2.2K in early April, but then dropping to 640 by the end of the quarter. The app generated a small amount of revenue, reaching $3 in mid-May.

Ice Skating Ballerina, another app from Coco Play, showed a varied download trend. Weekly downloads began at 284 and fluctuated, peaking at 350 in mid-April before settling at 126 by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 1.2K and ending at 744. The app saw a minor revenue peak of $2 in early May.

Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys also from Coco Play, had weekly downloads that began at 400, peaked at 551 in mid-April, and declined to 88 by the end of June. Active users started at 395, peaked at 542 in early April, and dropped to 97 by the end of the quarter.

JoJo Siwa - Live to Dance, yet another Coco Play app, had minimal download activity, with sporadic peaks of 4 in late June. Active users for this app started at 349 and saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at 239.
